Veteran’s Day is a major event in our Northern Utah community as we Stand as One to honor our veterans and active duty service members. We are excited that the 2nd annual Veteran’s Day Field of Honor ® will be part of our community events this November, sponsored by Follow the Flag North Ogden, in conjunction with the Colonial Flag Foundation, Flamm Family Foundation, The Major Brent Taylor Legacy Foundation and Big D Construction.
From November 2nd through the 12th, flags will fly proudly at the Pleasant View City Offices. This will be an inspiring learning opportunity for people of all ages and abilities to experience. We encourage the surrounding community to support this beautiful and respectful tribute to our local Veterans and take the opportunity to participate in this Field of Honor.
Flags may be sponsored in tribute to individual heroes. Honoring these men and women is especially appropriate and needed this year. Flags sponsored may be pick up on the morning of November 13th from 8:30-11 a.m. at the Pleasant View City Offices.
The Veterans Day Field of Honor® 2020 display is a gift to the community made possible through donations, sponsorships and the efforts of many dedicated volunteers. You can show your support and gratitude by sponsoring a flag or becoming an event sponsor.
Happenings:
October 31 – North Ogden’s annual flag week will begin by unfurling “The Major” in Coldwater Canyon.
Come and witness the largest free-flying American flag to ever fly! It is 11,800 square feet in size!
