I first learned of the small grass roots “Follow The Flag” group back in November of 2018 when the news
that our mayor, neighbor and friend Major Brent Taylor had been killed during his deployment in
Kirk Takeshi Fuchigami Jr. was called back home doing what he loved: serving his country and flying helicopters. He was born July 14, 1994, and passed away Nov. 20, 2019, while providing security for U.S. ground troops in Afghanistan.
TUCSON, Arizona – Follow the Flag deployed to Tucson, AZ for Healing Flight 5 for the families of the La Mora massacre. Kyle Fox and Brent Jensen began the mission by flying to Tucson to scout for a proper canyon to deploy one of our large flags known as “Baby Betsy”.
Sergeant First Class Elliott Jerome Robbins, 31, born on August 18, 1987, in La Jolla, California, passed away on June 30, 2019 in Afghanistan after serving in the Army for 13 years. His death came as a shock and surprise to many. His untimely death happened the week before the fourth of July. Follow the Flag dedicated its efforts in the North Ogden Cherry Days Parade to the family of SFC Robbins carrying Elliott’s picture with us as we made our way down Washington Blvd.
