Kirk Takeshi Fuchigami Jr. was called back home doing what he loved: serving his country and flying helicopters. He was born July 14, 1994, and passed away Nov. 20, 2019, while providing security for U.S. ground troops in Afghanistan.
Sergeant First Class Elliott Jerome Robbins, 31, born on August 18, 1987, in La Jolla, California, passed away on June 30, 2019 in Afghanistan after serving in the Army for 13 years. His death came as a shock and surprise to many. His untimely death happened the week before the fourth of July. Follow the Flag dedicated its efforts in the North Ogden Cherry Days Parade to the family of SFC Robbins carrying Elliott’s picture with us as we made our way down Washington Blvd.
USCG Chief Petty Officer Jared Michael Reaves, of North Ogden, UT passed away on July 5, 2019, at the University of Chicago Medical Center of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.
June 6, 1979 ~ November 3, 2018 — Army Major Brent Russell Taylor, age 39, was killed in action on November 3, 2018, while training an Afghan Army commando battalion, near Kabul, Afghanistan. He loved his fellow American soldiers, his NATO colleagues and the Afghan people.
