Big Betsy Flies for Healthcare Workers

Big Betsy Flies for Healthcare Workers

MURRAY, Utah – Another flight for Big Betsy! With careful coordination between the IMC staff and administration and Follow the Flag, Big Betsy was able to fly again off the west side of the IMC Hospital in Murray, Utah.

To help spread patriotism by honoring, healing, and inspiring, the Follow the Flag Team flew Big Betsy to honor our medical professionals during the trying times of Covid-19. Betsy was enjoyed by passing cars on I-15, patients, hospital staff, and many citizens. Big Betsy looked beautiful! It was a great sight to see her cascading down the side of the building. We hope that those inside IMC had a wonderful day with red, white, and blue rooms. Thank you to all those serving in the medical field! We appreciate your effort and sacrifices to keep us healthy and safe. We also would like to thank those that helped get Betsy in the air: Murray Fire and Police Departments, Utah County Search and Rescue, Murray hospital administration, and other volunteers. Thank you for helping us make this flight possible.
